American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level IV Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring Advanced NRP certification and prior Level IV L&D experience.

• Night shift position, 19:00-07:30, 36 hours per week
• 13-week assignment at a brand new Level IV Women & Infants Hospital
• 15-bed Labor & Delivery unit, 20-bed High Risk Unit, and 8-bed OB Triage
• Adheres to AWHONN guidelines with 1:1 staffing in active labor and 2 patients in early/latent labor
• Charge nurse responsibilities in both L&D and High Risk Unit, plus baby nurse duties for deliveries
• Required to work every third weekend
• Holiday rotation required
• Possible float to a sister facility's L&D unit in Carmel, IN if needed

• Active IN RN license or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
• NRP certification required (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics)
• Advanced NRP certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Level IV L&D experience required
• Must be familiar with Magnesium and insulin drip management
• Experience with advanced external fetal monitoring required
• Fetal monitoring competency via AWHONN, Relias, or equivalent program within the past 2 years if not covered by facility competency exam
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Two orientation shifts provided
• No tolerance for call-offs; strong attendance commitment required
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
• First-time travelers may be considered
