Description:
The unit is a 10-bed critical care environment.
Patient ratios are 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3.Equipment utilized includes Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, EV 1000, and Neuroptics Pupillometer.
Electronic Medical Records are managed using Epic.
Patients typically include those with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, post-operative craniotomy, seizures, encephalopathy, and neurological tumors.
Candidates should be team players with a positive attitude.
Flexibility and empathy are essential qualities desired for this role.
Dress code consists of navy scrubs.
Unacceptable attire includes hoodies.
There is a requirement for floating to other inpatient areas when the home unit has low census.
