American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a Days shift position requiring 2 years of ICU experience and ACLS/BLS certification.

• Adult Intensive Care Unit with 30 beds
• Patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 depending on acuity
• Cares for patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psych disorders
• Uses Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, and EV 1000 equipment
• Utilizes Epic EMR
• 3x12 Day shift schedule with every other weekend commitment
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to other inpatient areas when home unit has low census

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Comprehensive assessment skills required
• Experience caring for septic patients and mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices required
• CRRT and Epic experience preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• EKG testing required as part of consideration process
• US SSN required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity intensive care setting
• Team player with a positive attitude, flexibility, and empathy valued
• Navy scrub color required; hoodies and non-facility sweatshirts not permitted
• Orientation includes modules completed on first day, Epic training if needed, and one day of unit orientation
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a reduced bill rate
