Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular​/CVOR

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) requiring at least 2 years of circulating experience and IN or compact RN licensure.

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience required
• Knowledge of circulating in the operating room required
• Experience in both circulating and scrubbing preferred but not required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months

• Open Heart Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
• Cardiovascular and vascular surgical patient population
• 3 operating rooms with occasional use of a 4th
• Patient ratio of 3:1
• Equipment includes Davinci robotic system and Hybrid OR
• EPIC EMR used
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 4x10-hour day shifts
• No weekend shift hours required
• Call requirements include 2 weekend days per month (24 hours) and 5 weekdays including a Friday beginning at end of shift (16:30)
• No floating required
• Provide circulating and surgical support for open heart and vascular surgery cases
• Work as part of a collaborative surgical team requiring strong critical thinking and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Employee parking available with onboarding details provided by the facility educator
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius accepted at a reduced bill rate
