JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Landscape Maintenance

  • Mow, trim, edge, and blow lawns according to company and client standards.
  • Prune shrubs, hedges, and small trees to maintain appearance and health.
  • Weed and maintain flower beds/plant areas.
  • Assist with seasonal cleanups (spring and fall).
Landscape Installation
  • Install mulch, soil, plants, and trees following landscape designs.
  • Operate various landscape equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge trimmers safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with hardscape installation (e.g., edging, pavers, or other materials) as needed.
Safety and Equipment
  • Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE (eye, ear, hand, and foot protection).
  • Inspect tools and equipment daily; report malfunctions or safety hazards to the Crew Leader.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and company vehicle.
Teamwork and Professionalism
  • Work cooperatively with team members and follow Crew Leader instructions.
  • Represent the company positively with clients, coworkers, and the public.
  • Show up on time, ready to work, and maintain a professional appearance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • At least one year of landscaping experience using basic maintenance hand tools
  • Ability to lift 25lbs and occasionally 50lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to wear required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Valid driver’s license and insurability based on company’s insurance requirements
  • Ability to drive and back-up a truck and trailer combination
  • Experience using a zero-turn lawnmower, trimmer, and basic landscaping power equipment
  • Available to work weekends, overtime, and after hours, as needed
  • Basic planting and mulching experience
  • Experience loading and unloading landscaping vehicles and trailers
  • Pesticide License, 3A, 3B or others (Fertilization)
  • Bilingual, English and Spanish is a plus
  • Basic First Aid and CPR certification
  • OSHA certificate
