Base pay range$65,000.00/yr - $82,000.00/yr
Target salary = $65-82k
The Cost Accountant will analyze production costs, compare estimates to actuals, and support budgeting and reporting for a precision manufacturing environment. This role focuses on maintaining accurate cost data, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Gather, compile, and analyze cost and expense data across departments
- Prepare cost and margin reports; support monthly and year-end closings
- Review variances between standard and actual costs to identify inaccuracies
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and recommending cost-saving actions
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Business
- 2+ years in cost accounting, ideally in manufacturing; strong Excel and ERP experience.
