Position Overview:

Our Franchise is seeking a Construction Estimator who enjoys helping people through difficult situations, with a drive to make fire and water damage "Like it never even happened". The ideal candidate is hardworking, communicates well, and is a multi-tasker.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish customer relationships for construction services
• Educate customers on the construction process
• Understand desired upgrades/changes
• Ensure estimates meet client requirements
• Analyze labor, material, and time requirements
• Create accurate sketches and scope of work
• Deliver consistent initial estimates
• Recognize project constraints and upgrades
• Collaborate with Project Manager on pricing
• Document finalized project scope
• Coordinate with external resources for accurate estimates
• Prepare organized estimates
• Communicate estimates to Project Manager

Position Requirements:

• BA in engineering, construction science, or related field (preferred)
• 2+ years in construction estimating or insurance adjusting
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong written and oral communication
• Advanced math skills
• Proficient in Xactimate software
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good driving record

• Frequent driving and sitting
• Occasional ladder climbing
• Exposure to extreme conditions like heat
• Loud noise levels at jobsites
