REMOTE Emergency Neuroradiologist - 7 on/14 off
ELIGIBLE FOR SIGN ON BONUS
The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine, in partnership with Indiana University Health Medical Group, is seeking a fellowship-trained neuroradiologist to join our subspecialist team within the Emergency Radiology division. Our Indianapolis-based practice is expanding services throughout the state and we are looking for candidates interested in a hybrid academic/community practice work environment. The IU Emergency Radiology division is a highly skilled and collegial team supported by administrative assistants 24/7/365.
This position is fully remote, 1.0 FTE, 100% neuro with a 7 on/14 off schedule. Shifts are 7p-4a or 10p-7a (Eastern Time) alongside a second neuroradiologist and a team of general ER radiologists. Candidates should be proficient in all aspects of CT and MR neuroimaging
, including CT perfusion performed in the acute stroke setting, and preferably with experience working in a level 1 trauma center. There is a great case mix between academic and community sites with the opportunity to teach residents and fellows.
The job can be performed entirely from home in most states on a workstation provided by the Department. This is a clinical track position and carries a rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology and Imaging Sciences
. Associate and Full Professor candidates are also welcome. Salary and benefits are extremely competitive.
- Provide emergency neuroradiology interpretation with proficiency in CT and MR neuroimaging, including CT perfusion in acute stroke.
- Collaborate with a team including neuroradiologists and general ER radiologists to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Teach and supervise residents and fellows as part of a hybrid academic/community practice.
- Participate in clinical duties and contribute to a collegial, remote-readiness workflow.
- MD or DO degree with eligibility for licensure in Indiana.
- Radiology board eligibility.
- Fellowship-trained neuroradiologist.
- Experience in a level 1 trauma center and proficiency in CT and MR neuroimaging; CT perfusion experience is preferred.
