The Facility Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all plant facilities, infrastructure, and support services in a chemical manufacturing environment. The role covers preventive and breakdown maintenance, administration, housekeeping, legal and statutory compliance, civil projects, product license management, and liaisoning with regulatory and external authorities. The Facility Manager will play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient plant facility while supporting business continuity and operational excellence.

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of plant machinery, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of critical facilities (boilers, compressors, ETP, WTP, HVAC, DG sets, etc.).
• Monitor AMC contracts, service providers, and vendor performance.
• Supervise administration functions including
• Oversee civil maintenance, new construction, and modification projects within the factory.
• Ensure infrastructure upkeep including buildings, roads, warehouses, and safety systems.
• site security and travel management.
• Ensure plant facilities are well‑maintained, hygienic, and aligned with safety standards.
• Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable factory laws, labor laws, environmental norms, and safety regulations.
• Maintain statutory records, licenses, and permits as per legal requirements (Factories Act, Pollution Control Board, etc.).
• Liaise with regulatory authorities during inspections, audits, and statutory reporting.
• Maintain effective relationships with government bodies, local authorities, and industrial associations.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines for product manufacturing, storage, and distribution.
• Work closely with QA/QC, R&D, and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.
• Lead plant expansion, modernization, and improvement projects.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Chemical preferred).
• MBA/PGDM in Operations or Industrial Management (desirable).

Experience:

• 15–20 years of relevant experience in facilities/plant management, preferably in the chemical/process industry
  .
• Hands‑on exposure to legal compliance, plant administration, and project management.
