Mid-Level Engineering Technician

We are headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA. We are seeking a Mid‑Level Engineering Technician to support our Navy customer in Crane, IN.

• Applicants must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

• Support equipment level alterations made to equipment onboard a Navy vessel, test site, or within a system, such as upgrading existing equipment or systems, adjusting configurations, retrofitting components, or integrating new technologies. These alterations may involve various elements, such as machinery, electronics, instrumentation, etc.
• Provide support and guidance to address issues, challenges, or questions related to a particular system, equipment, or process.
• Conduct testing, risk analyses, design recommendations and coordinate with certifying organizations.
• Install, monitor, upgrade, maintain and perform system administration for support systems, tactical and training.
• Provide support, maintenance, and a range of engineering, industrial, and technical services for combat system equipment.
• Support post modernization installation, checkout and closeout processes during stages 3-7 for technical refresh, upgrades to training systems software, installation of modifications to shipboard command and control combat systems and subsystems, managing ORDALTS and handling field changes.

• 4 years of providing Combat Systems / Engineering support to a US Navy program or ship.

• A Technical school diploma in electrical/electronic systems.
