The Technical Manager shall provide technical expertise and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The focus of the role will be on optimizing and improving manufacturing processes to ensure safety, sustainability, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality production.

Responsibilities
  • In-depth knowledge of batch manufacturing processes, engineering principles, and relevant technologies.
  • Use scientific, mathematical, and engineering principles to improve process efficiency and solve process problems.
  • Carry out basic and detailed engineering for all major and minor projects for process improvement, including capacity enhancement, energy optimization, and sustainable projects.
  • Participate in and conduct process risk assessment for new processes and support implementation of technical control measures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
  • Analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders through excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Plan, organize, and manage projects effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, cost saving, and implementation, in support of the Plant Manager.
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Requirements
  • B. Tech. (Chemical) from a reputed institution with 10-15 years of experience in the chemical/API industry as a technical services / process engineer.
  • Prior relevant experience managing a team of 20-30 people in the chemical/API manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of batch processes and unit operations.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Speed & agility in resolving technical issues in current and new processes.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • High performance drive with energy and passion, pushing boundaries while focusing on critical objectives.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
