For our Vevey-based Laboratory, we are looking for a Test Engineer.
Your mission:
- Planning of experiments and execution of measurements of model turbines (mainly pump-turbines and Pelton) in the hydraulic laboratory
- Operation of test rigs in hydraulic laboratory
- Analyze data and prepare documentation of tests and results
- Participating in Acceptance Tests with customers
- Participation in maintenance, calibration, certification and continuous improvement of measurement equipment, test rigs and laboratory facility
- Provide support to design engineers in the laboratory
Your Profile:
- Master’s degree (HES) Mechanical Engineering at least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of hydraulic turbines, especially pump turbines, is an advantage
- Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) an advantage
- Work with a high level of autonomy
- Relevant professional experience in the hydropower sector an advantage
- Experience in analysis and processing of measurement data is an asset
- Good knowledge of French and English, additional languages are an advantage
- Flexibility, reliability, team orientation as well as commitment complete your profile
