CT Technologist - Full Time role at Indiana Regional Medical Center

This position is Sign-on Bonus Eligible!

• Perform CT procedures for diagnostic purposes as prescribed by physicians.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the scanning process, and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Operate CT equipment, including positioning patients correctly and adjusting machine settings.
• Administer contrast materials as needed, under the supervision of a radiologist or per protocol.
• Maintain accurate patient records and properly label and store images using PACS.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Monitor equipment functionality and report any technical issues or malfunctions.
• Assist in maintaining supply inventory and ensure exam rooms are clean and prepared.
• Participate in ongoing training, certifications, and quality assurance programs.

• EDUCATION: Successful completion of an approved school of radiologic technology required
• EXPERIENCE: 2 years as a general radiologic technologist required
• LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION:
  • Registered with ARRT as an RT(R) and registered in or working toward certification as an RT(CT)
  • CT certification obtained within 1 year of hire
  • BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire
