Works under the direction of the Chief Athletic Trainer and Director of Physical Therapy to provide athletic training services for Henry County Sports Medicine. Responsibilities include consultation, assessments, clinical education, in services, and assisting in patient treatment. Collaborates closely with the Chief Athletic Trainer, Director of Physical Therapy, physical therapy staff, and orthopedic surgical team to ensure appropriate care within Certified Athletic Trainer standards.
Responsibilities- Provide athletic training services for Henry County Sports Medicine.
- Assess and evaluate treatment protocols for athletic injuries.
- Assist in athletic training educational programs for students, parents, teachers, coaches, and trainers.
- Conduct on-site evaluations of athletic injuries at area schools based on their needs.
- Knowledge of assessment and management of athletic injuries.
- Sound judgment in duty execution.
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution meeting NATA standards and successful NATA certification.
- Preferred:
One year of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer. - Preferred:
Experience in on-site athletic injury assessment.
