** The role
** As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer you bridge the developer world with the operations world and support all parties with needed infrastructure. You are a Dev Ops advocate for mindset and toolings, value the longstanding Dev Ops technologies and help our customers to continuously improve their Dev Ops environment.
** How you’ll make impact
*** You can balance technical hands-on work with strategic thinking
* You are responsible for ensuring the operation of production and development environments, as well as resolving disruptions in close collaboration with development teams and hosting providers.
* You bring operational excellence into development projects and ensure their implementation with high quality.
* Building and continuously optimizing automation for builds, deployments, testing, and monitoring are also within your responsibilities.
* Strong stakeholder management and subtle leadership skills as influencing without authority and managing political nuances are daily realities.
* You provide customer consultation regarding new infrastructure projects.
** What’s important to us
*** You have already worked for several years in software development and architecture and are also familiar with operational topics.
* You have experience in the following technologies:
Shell (Unix Shell/Power Shell), Java, Jenkins, Ansible, Maven, Gradle, Git, Git Lab, Artifactory.
* A quick grasp, strong communication skills and an understanding of business processes help you to understand complex client problems.
* A technical degree (University of Applied Sciences, university, ETH, or equivalent) would be a plus.
* Daily communication and interaction with customers and colleagues bring you joy – fluent in German and English.
