Sr QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily stand‑up meetings, share daily status report and weekly status report, and update status and risks.
• Review design and user documentation, project specifications, and requirements.
• Assist in user story analysis, test design, and test documents.
• Write functional test cases and test steps based on requirements, mockups, and/or available application functionality as needed.
• Create automation scripts and peer‑review the test scripts.
• Execute test cases to verify quality for requirements.
• Execute sanity, smoke, functional, and regression testing.
• Run the automation scripts, analyze results, and log defects.
• Perform error analysis and defect reporting.
• Support team in developing automation scripts following best practices.

• Insurance experience preferred.
• Capacity for selenium automation growth as needed.
• Hybrid of functional and automation work expected.
• 5‑7 years experience.
• Manual testing (4/5).
• API Postman (4/5).
• Selenium with Java (2.5/5).
• Insurance domain – preferred.
