Overview
Sales Manager – Europe to lead, coach, and grow the European sales team. This role will manage a team of two sales professionals and drive revenue growth across existing laboratory automation markets while expanding into new strategic customers and applications. The Sales Manager will align sales strategies, customer targeting, and execution, and explore opportunities in adjacent industrial applications such as electronics and logistics.
Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing European sales team.
- Align the team around growth priorities in existing laboratory automation markets.
- Strategically develop new markets or niche applications for Precise Cobots.
- Identify and manage relationships with system integration partners.
- Create sales and marketing support documents for system integration partners.
- Represent Precise Automation at trade shows and other business functions.
- Leverage the development group to respond to market trends.
- Define metrics to analyze and monitor growth and strategic progress.
- Manage assigned OEM customers and continue market penetration for target markets.
- Drive revenue growth and expand market share for Precise Automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, life sciences, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in automation, lab equipment, or related high-technology markets.
- 3+ years of management experience with a track record of leading successful sales teams.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory automation markets; familiarity with industrial automation markets.
- Proven success in driving sales growth and developing new accounts and customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to message appropriately from Chief Officer suite to manufacturing engineering teams.
- Ability to travel frequently across Europe (30%+).
- Fluency in English required; additional European languages highly desirable.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Skilled in team building and persuasive leadership.
- Professional communication and time management.
- Comfortable managing senior-level relationships.
- Internal - Reports directly to Director of Sales; direct reports include two sales people (Germany and Netherlands) and may add incremental distribution representative(s). Collaborates with all departments within the organization including Sales, Operations, R&D, Finance and Manufacturing.
- External - Create, nurture, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within integration channel partners and OEM target customers.
