Position Summary
The Production Technician Associate will report directly to the Plant Manager or their designate and is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks to assist with operations in production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate a forklift.
- Packaging 10 - 50 lb. bags of bulk product via saddle to pallet as well as filling 3000 lb. super sacks and 50,000 lb. tankers.
- Cleaning of the warehouse, and work area, as required.
- Perform Daily Maintenance Checks in accordance with the procedures.
- Calls specialists when more serious problems arise.
- Tracks various data associated with production equipment.
- Reports any inconsistencies and uses standard repair procedures.
- Work in compliance with company safety and operating procedures.
- Maintain high production levels in areas of responsibility.
- Taking samples per the quality standards.
- Ensures all batch sheets and samples are turned into the quality lab in a timely manner.
- Ensuring finished products are packaged and labeled to customer specifications and bulk trailers are labeled with the correct customer information.
- Ensuring proper material is being used per customer formulations.
- Other duties, as assigned by Management.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing setting.
- Capable of working in a team and independently.
- Capable of following a production report while working independently.
