Nurse Practitioner - PRN Indiana role at Tri Search

Responsibilities- Perform screenings including medical history, physical exam, medication reconciliation and education.
- Identify, evaluate, and address the concerns of the member, employee or participant. Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results and provide clinically appropriate interventions, additional tests, or referrals as needed.
- Administer and order point-of-care and lab-based testing.
- Refer members to PCP, case management, disease management programs, and/or appropriate specialists as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with risk & quality teams, staffing, operations, physicians, case managers, social workers, care givers and ancillary medical personnel.
- Participate in mandatory compliance and other training programs; seek guidance for compliance-related concerns and adhere to applicable laws, regulations and Matrix policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain clear documentation according to clinical standards, guidelines and protocols.
- Maintain positive control of all PHI information and comply with OSHA and State Board of Nursing requirements. May act as a preceptor for new providers. Other duties may be assigned.
- Educational Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Master’s Degree required OR commensurate experience with satisfactory NP licensure completion. - Current RN and NP licensure in state of practice, including prescription authority or the ability to obtain prescriptive authority.
- Board certification by AANP, AACN or ANCC in Adult, Family Practice, Geriatrics or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care, or ACNPC-AG (Adult Gero) Acute Care NP, or ACNPC (Adult) Acute Care NP.
- Current CPR certification. Multistate licensure preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive geriatric and adult physical exams within licensure and certification scope. - Valid state driver’s license and proof of insurance; able to travel to assigned locations via public transportation including airplanes.
- Proficient computer skills, including e-mail and Microsoft Office. Effective written and verbal communication skills with professional, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manage time efficiently.
