As Your Creative People’s next Senior Back-End Developer you will be key part of our development team and will create efficient solutions for internal projects and custom client applications of the highest quality. Please note, we are only accepting U.S. candidates with 5 or more years of experience who want a full-time, in-office role.

• Become familiar with our codebase, tech stack, development and deployment process, and our project management process.
• Integrate into the development team and understand the weekly workflow.
• Get to know our clients and how they use our products.
• Develop the next-generation versions of our content management system (CMS), learning management system (LMS), Human Resources software tools, and other YCP resellable software services.
• Improve the current stable releases of our existing SAAS platforms.
• Support customers of the platforms we offer via chat, phone, and email.
• Provide quality assurance (QA) and code coverage checks.
• As needed, collaborate together with the front-end development team to build custom components for larger client websites.
• As needed, work with third-party systems and APIs to integrate with our products.
• Provide assistance at the server level for upgrades, installs, and maintenance.

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficient in C#.NET.
• Proven experience with software design and OOD methodologies.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with ORM frameworks.
• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Experience with Web services development (SOAP, REST).
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, MVC, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
