As shipping specialist, reporting to the transport and logistics supervisor, you will coordinate and monitor shipments of export orders to ensure that materials/products are transported in compliance with transportation and import/export regulations/requirements, and deliver on time to customers.

• Coordinate shipping of products, including method of transport, pick-up times and carriers to meet required shipping and delivery dates
• Oversee the preparation of export shipping documents in SAP (in accordance with regulatory requirements)
• Communicate all customer-specific requirements to distribution/shipping personnel to ensure that shipments are processed on time and as per customer expectations
• Assist in the development and implementation of written export transportation procedures and filing maintenance
• Conduct systematic controls to ensure adherence to local and international transport and customs regulations as well as company policies and procedures
• Freight management control: analysis and evaluation of the shipping rates finding the most competitive price/service
• Monitoring the related administrative processes. Good knowledge of the incoterms application, VAT rules, triangular trading operation, complaint and returning goods management
• Execute other tasks as required and assigned by supervisor

• 3 to 4 years of experience in logistics in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in shipping operations preferred

• Good knowledge of transportation supplier landscape, knowledge of dangerous goods regulation is really appreciated
• Good knowledge of SAP system
• Good IT skills (MS office)
• Knowledge of supply chain dependencies and processes
• Fluent Italian and English
• Team working oriented, passion and flexibility in working, precision and planning ability, customer focus
