Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. • Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
• Ensures appropriate functions, duties and procedures are performed as directed by Warehouse Supervisor.
• Provides manual labor in the warehouse and receiving areas by loading, unloading and moving of merchandise.
• Assists receiving personnel by verifying correct counts of items received and noting discrepancies or damages.
• Issues (pulls) and delivers items to the proper destination and obtains signatures to ensure proper documentation of delivery/receipt.
• Maintains proper storage of inventory merchandise to avoid spills or spoilage; rotates stock according to schedule.

• Must be able to perform in manual labor warehouse tasks.
• This position is exposed to varying levels of noise and vibration, the severity of which depends upon warehouse activity.
• This position is required, at times, to work outside and is exposed to various weather conditions, including extreme cold. Proper clothing is provided.
• This position is physical in nature and requires the incumbent to bend, carry, squat, stand, twist and lift up to 100 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds in order to store and retrieve items located in the warehouse.
• Must be able to review and comprehend purchase requisitions.
• Must be able to effectively and efficiently move around warehouse.
