- Purify small molecule organic samples using reversed-phase chromatography on milligram to multi-gram scale.
- Thorough knowledge of preparative/semi-preparative chromatography and instrumentation required.
- Utilize LC-MS systems to identify collection fractions.
- Select an appropriate purification technique for unique mixtures.
- Communicate with synthetic chemists regarding purification requirements and issues.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive lab.
- BS - Chemistry or related field with 3-5 years of industry experience OR MS-Chemistry with 1-3 years of industry experience (preferably pharma).
- Preparative reverse phase (RP) LC experience required.
- Familiarity with Agilent HPLCs and Chem Station software would be helpful.
- Experience using Teledyne ISCO chromatography systems preferred.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
- Works well both as a team and as an individual.
- Demonstration of excellent team player skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
