Overview
Join Our Team as a Resident Service Coordinator – Enhance the Resident Experience! Are you passionate about customer service and creating positive living environments? We’re looking for a dedicated Resident Service Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will play a key part in managing resident services, assisting with property operations, and ensuring smooth administrative processes. You’ll engage directly with residents and help ensure their needs are met, all while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Manage resident interactions, support property management tasks, and ensure overall satisfaction of residents.
- Plan events, conduct property inspections, manage resident files, and assist with communication between residents and leadership.
- Resident Engagement, Correspondence, and Follow-Up
- Plan and organize resident events to foster community engagement.
- Respond to resident feedback within 24 hours via the Resident Feedback system on
- Record and track all resident correspondence in Yardi.
- Property Inspection & Curb Appeal
- Complete weekly property inspections focusing on resident balconies/patios and amenities.
- Inspect apartments as needed to maintain property standards.
- Resident Files & Paperwork
- Maintain accurate resident files, including renewals, resident retention programs, and lease changes.
- Assist with in‑house transfers, adding/removing roommates, and lease renewals; prepare renewal letters for delivery to residents.
- Assist Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager with paperwork flow and verifications.
- Collaboration with Leadership
- Assist the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager with property‑related tasks.
- Provide input on setting the agenda for weekly and monthly staff meetings.
- Compliance
- Ensure adherence to federal and state Fair Housing Laws and company policies.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university, or 3‑5 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Sales and/or customer service training.
- Proficiency in software applications, smartphones, and reporting/analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong ability to foster positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
- Skilled in understanding and addressing resident concerns with care and professionalism.
- 20% Rent Discount
- Excellent Base Pay: $18.00‑$21.00
- $100 New Lease Commissions
- Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions (paid monthly)
- $300 Morgan Essentials (paid quarterly)
