Laboratory Technician

Location: Indianapolis

Palmer Group has partnered with our client in their search for a Laboratory Technician to join their team. Our client maintains a robust international footprint, with dedicated R&D search efforts and options to work with product from around the world. As a laboratory technician, you will design and execute experiments, test hypotheses, and perform data collection and analysis to drive technology development, all while ensuring a safe and compliant lab environment.

Work model:

• On-Site
• 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

What you will do:

• M anage the molecular screening pipeline to enable the discovery, characterization, and advancement of genome editing technologies
• Contribute to technology development and process optimization by designing experiments, testing hypotheses, and performing data collection and analysis
• Follow company procedures, policies, and protocols to keep a safe lab environment
• Partner with multifunctional teams to communicate technical expertise, insights, and results
• Perform experiments and deliver technical support while fostering a positive, respectful, and collaborative team environment
• Draft reports and summaries to share results and progress updates with supervisors

What you will need to be successful:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in biology, microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field
• Between 0-7 years of experience in a lab environment
• High level of understanding of Microsoft Office; database or LIMS systems experience preferred
• Skilled in ensuring complete, accurate, and timely documentation of experimental data
