We currently have a role available for a Pharma Synthetic Organic Chemist.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Working knowledge of modern transition metal catalysis.
Purifying complex reaction mixtures.
Utilizing LC-MS and NMR regularly.
Running reactions on scales from 1 mg - 100 g.
- Experience running reactions at moderate to high gas pressures and use of autoclave-style reactors is a plus
Using and maintaining specialized lab equipment, including Auto balance, Easy Max, H-Cube, Endeavor, flow reactors and glove boxes.

Job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

MS - Chemistry, Organic Chemistry or related science with 5+ years of industrial lab experience or PhD with 0-2 years of industrial lab or post-Doc experience.
Willingness/ability to mentor junior scientists is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work well both independently and within a team.
Very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions.
The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.

This is an onsite, day shift position (approx. 8a-5p local time) at our Indianapolis, IN site. This role does not accommodate a hybrid or remote schedule.
