Part‑Time Baker 1 | Three Leaf Catering

A part‑time baker within Notre Dame’s UOES division, Three Leaf Catering, supporting daily bakery production for the campus community.

• Assist with preparing basic pastry and bakery items such as cookies, muffins, brownies, and cakes using standard recipes.
• Accurately measure, scale, and mix ingredients, following directions from senior bakers or chefs.
• Support general bakery operations including mixing, cooking/baking, assembly, setup, decorating, labeling, and proper storage of ingredients and finished products.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure proper use, cleaning, and storage of tools and equipment.
• Follow and uphold Serv Safe kitchen standards and all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Assist with inventory tasks such as tracking supplies and reporting low stock.
• Collaborate with the baking team to ensure timely production and high‑quality service, especially during peak hours and special events.
• Uphold standards of hospitality, ensuring all guests receive the highest quality food and service.

• Prior baking/pastry experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn kitchen safety, hygiene, and food handling standards.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and event‑based shifts.

$17.50 per hour.
