Overview

We are currently looking for the right Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team!

$13.00 to $16.00 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.00 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The role greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

The associate thrives on engaging with customers and assists with customer inquiries and problem resolution. The role will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and much more.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. The actual pay will be based on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions according to policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers; works as a team to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training successfully.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, bending, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting) per legal requirements.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Employee may assist customers outside the building or retrieve products stored externally.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Should be able to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
