General Position SummaryThe Store Operations Coordinator drives the efficiency of all retail operations through communication between Lids corporate office and the field organization (our stores).This person contributes to and organizes all projects impacting Lids retail employees, includingwagemanagement,visual merchandising,promotionalplanningandmore.
The Store Operations Coordinator works closely with all departments in the business to ensure productivity in all stages of the project life cycle. The ideal teammate is self-motivated and a skilled multitasker and communicator who has a passion for the retail industry.
- Partnerwithleadersfromthroughoutthecompanytoensurecross‑departmental collaboration to support 1200+ stores.
- Sendallglobalcommunicationsfromcorporatetofieldleaderstoincludememos, corporate announcements, and departmental reports.
- Designandmaintainstore-levelcommunicationportal,aswellaspartnerwithall applicable departments and associates to ensure current, accurate information.
- Participateincross‑departmentalcollaborationtocontinuetofindwaystoimprove efficiency and strengthen culture.
- Participate,oversee,andfacilitatemeetings,includingtakingnotesonactionitems and following through on the takeaways. Buildvendorpartnershipstomanageandsupply Lidsbrandedmerchandisetothe field and corporate office.
- Monitor flow,quality,andquantityofdata,projects,andrequestsforinformation goingtothefield,toensurethatallisconsistentwiththeneedsandgoalsofthe field organization.
- Support the Lidsfieldoperationsteambymanagingandsolvingstoreinventory discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory adjustments for accuracy and completion.
- Modelacultureofownershipineverycustomerandemployeeinteractionwhile driving strategic priorities and operational activities.
- Managetheoveralldirection,development,andperformanceofthedepartment and operations partners both internal and external.
- Communicatewithandunderstandtheneedsofinternalandexternalcustomers while maintaining the department standards for productivity, reliability, and accuracy.

- Prior retail, business management, or event management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediatetoadvance Excel andMSOffice skills
- Strong systems capability and ability to adapt to new applications
