Route Sales Associate – Farmer Brothers

We are hiring a Route Sales Associate to ensure customers receive high quality beverage service and timely delivery of coffee, tea, and related products.

Base Pay Range

$18.00/hr – $22.00/hr

Typical Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm. Overtime when needed.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver, replenish, and rotate beverage station products on each call.
  • Maintain clean equipment and execute at least one Cup Quality Check (CQC) per day.
  • Escalate customer issues promptly to the ASM and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage invoices, inventory, and collections daily while on route.
  • Increase revenue per stop by identifying and closing distribution voids on core products, executing seasonal and LTO promotions, and ensuring the beverage station is set to standard.
  • Assist ASM with inventory cycle counts, warehouse duties, and customer related matters as assigned.
  • Learn basic brewing equipment repairs or adjustments.
  • Execute the Farmer Brothers customer call process to drive satisfaction and loyalty; make sales calls when time allows.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including warehouse operations, accounts receivable collections, and customer service activities.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Route delivery experience a plus.
  • Customer service background preferred.
  • Previous food service industry experience desired.
  • Clean and good driving record.

  • Mechanical aptitude with company hardware and software products.
  • Proficient in assessing customer needs.
  • Uses active listening and communicates effectively with customers or management.
  • Decision making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers and employees.
  • Able to be proactive and work independently with little supervision.
