This gas powers our facility, feeds back into the electric grid, or is scrubbed and converted to natural gas for the pipeline.

The Lab Technician will be responsible for various laboratory techniques and analyses. This role involves preparing and testing samples, documenting processes, and maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure the quality, performance, and compliance of fertilizer and organic products.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze samples for fertilizer and organic product testing.
- Perform routine laboratory tests following standardized procedures.
- Document and interpret the results of experiments and tests.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Ensure laboratory safety protocols are followed.
- Monitor and manage laboratory supplies.
- Communicate findings and observations.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all laboratory activities.
- Associate degree or higher in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the fertilizer/organic (Ag) industry.
- Familiarity with IDEM and EPA regulations is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Laboratory techniques and equipment handling.
- Sample preparation and analysis.
- Data documentation and interpretation.
- Knowledge of safety protocols.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic statistical analysis.
- Problem‑solving.
