Position OverviewAs part of a dynamic PMQ team, you will ensure that Roche products meet the highest quality standards. Your role involves meticulous detail, technical expertise, and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across global and local functions. You will act as a coach to new team members and will continuously improve processes to better serve customers and patients.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Core Lab Network in handling complaints related to mass spectrometry and serve as the hardware specialist for the Cobas i 601 system.
- Timely and independent processing of customer complaints and inquiries from the market, including potentially reportable and safety‑relevant issues, following ISO standards, regulations, and Roche mQMS.
- Maintain communication with country organizations to obtain a comprehensive view of market problems and promptly issue quality notifications.
- Collaborate closely with global and/or local functions (e.g., R&D, Operations, CDMA) to ensure appropriate actions are derived from cases in a timely manner.
- Analyze data using statistical methods to identify product issues, conduct risk assessments, and initiate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) or non‑conformities derived from complaints.
- Contribute to the creation of regular reports documenting product quality and performance in the market.
- Work autonomously with minimal supervision and support knowledge transfer for new products, ensuring comprehensive system knowledge is available.
- Participate in the induction and mentoring of new team members.
- Experienced expert in diagnostics or a comparable environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in medical technology, electrical engineering, biotechnology, chemistry, or related field.
- Experience and knowledge of mass spectrometry.
- 3+ years of professional experience in a technical product support position (5+ years preferred), R&D, technical customer support, product complaint handling, or a similar function.
- Sound GMP knowledge and/or knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Strong problem‑solving orientation with excellent communication skills, teamwork ability, and customer focus.
- Business‑fluent English skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
The position is primarily on‑site in Indianapolis, with minimal domestic and international travel as needed. Relocation benefits are not available. The salary range based on the primary location is $62,370 to $135,370, with additional discretionary annual bonus potential and full benefits as detailed in the company benefits guide.
