Senior Scientist - LCMS

We are seeking a Senior Scientist – LCMS to join IQVIA Laboratories at Indianapolis, IN

• Plan development processes and author methods; execute method development experiments as needed.
• Validate methods and support analytical testing delivery.
• Troubleshoot assays for process optimization and contribute to lab investigations.
• Transfer methods to validation and collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure scalability and sustainability.
• Apply advanced domain knowledge to resolve technical inquiries and lead troubleshooting projects using root cause analysis.
• Mentor and train junior staff; lead technical projects of low to moderate complexity and oversee deliverables.
• Support maintenance and operational standards of lab equipment; participate in evaluation and validation of new instrumentation.
• Maintain laboratory notebooks under regulatory standards and follow all SOPs and safety requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline required.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience in method or assay development; LC‑MS method development experience required.
• Strong knowledge of assay/method development principles, instrumentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

• Expertise in LC‑MS method development and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to lead projects, mentor staff, and apply advanced problem‑solving strategies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain independence, and deliver projects under timeline expectations.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $62,000.00 - $. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job‑related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part‑time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
