As a Security Officer – Auto Facility Entry in Whitestown, IN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as automotive. In this Part‑Time position you will monitor and patrol designated areas, deter security‑related incidents, and provide a welcoming and professional presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and delivering outstanding customer service.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Screen individuals entering the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site protocols.
• Monitor access points to help deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating as necessary according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help deter potential issues and maintain a secure environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and Allied Universal management regarding security‑related matters.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during the shift.
• Assist with emergency response activities and work with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as directed by site protocols.

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subjects to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
