As a Security Officer – Access Control – Tech Center in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology, media, and telecom location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible throughout the premises.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Mon 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and protect assets within a tech, media, and telecommunications environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential risks and maintain a visible presence.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
• Report security-related concerns, hazards, or unusual situations to the appropriate personnel or management.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
