Hotel Security Officer at the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis‑Airport
, the Crowne Plaza Downtown Union Station and the Homewood Suites Keystone at the Crossing located in Indianapolis, IN.
The Security Officer plays a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of the hotel’s guests, team members, residents, and property. As a key member of the Security team, this individual will help oversee daily security operations, respond to incidents, promote safe work practices, and provide outstanding service—all while projecting professionalism and a guest‑focused attitude.
Responsibilities- Patrol hotel property to identify safety or security concerns
- Respond quickly and professionally to emergencies
- Document incidents and assist with initial investigations
- Enforce safety policies and support loss prevention efforts
- Promote safety awareness among guests and staff
- Provide a visible, helpful, and professional presence throughout the hotel
- Ability to travel between hotel locations as needed
- Experience in security, law enforcement, or loss prevention
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Service‑oriented and comfortable working with all levels of staff and guests
- Professional, dependable, and sound judgment under pressure
- Team player with a strong sense of ownership
- Adaptable, efficient, and reliable in a fast‑paced environment
- Committed to guest service and maintaining a safe atmosphere
- Works with urgency and attention to detail
