As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Coordination in Indianapolis, IN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will use screening technology to help identify prohibited items, monitor assigned areas, and support a secure environment for employees and operations. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel, packages, and authorized items entering or leaving the distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Verify identification, access credentials, shipping documentation, and visitor authorization; maintain accurate screening‑related records and logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, prohibited-item concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, loading zones, facility access points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
