This role will assist a driver with onsite segregation of waste and packaging and videotape and destruction of DEA controls.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions)- Act as a witness at customer locations where DEA controlled substances are involved.
- Ride along with a CDL driver to assist with duties at stops.
- Video the destruction process of DEA controlled substances and upload video into the employer system.
- Require up to 75% overnight travel based on routes.
- Load containers and supplies to the truck for daily service stops.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials in accordance with regulations.
- Follow all Health & Safety / JSA procedures as outlined in procedures and policies.
- Complete paperwork legibly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
- Perform related work and additional duties as requested or assigned by supervisor/manager.
- Maintain regular contact with external customers and different levels of personnel daily.
- Must meet all requirements for handling DEA regulated waste.
- Drive non‑DOT regulated vehicle to customer sites to witness regulated waste collection as needed.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One or more years related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Proficiency with Windows programs (e.g., Excel and Word).
- Ability to operate a powered industrial truck, e.g., forklift.
- Clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow procedures.
