Job Overview
This position is a direct hire opportunity! Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Controls Technician / Electrician for our packaging client to start immediately at up to $130k/annually DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!
ResponsibilitiesThe role involves day-to-day tasks such as troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance, handling instrumentation, electricity, and calibration duties to ensure effective operation of equipment. The candidate will work closely with other team members to maintain high standards of production and safety.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, equipment, and wiring, especially in an industrial setting.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with control circuits, machines, and production lines, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), and other automation equipment.
- Calibrate and adjust tension controls, sensors, and instruments to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for proper installation and repair.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and control systems to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Assemble and wire control panels according to specifications and safety standards.
- Document maintenance and repair work, including updating computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and technical logs.

Schedule / Shift Details2nd / 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday, start times vary 6PM-9PM. Overtime as needed.
Qualifications- Skills in troubleshooting basic controls and preventive maintenance.
- Journeyman Electrician strongly preferred.
- Must have experience troubleshooting/understanding PLCs.
- Strong foundation in electricity, motors and servos.
- Effective problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certifications are preferred.
The current, standard company health, life, and dental insurance coverage are generally supplied per company policy. Eligibility for other benefits, including the 401(k), will generally take place per company policy. All employees are eligible for 401k the 1st of the month following their start date. Employees are eligible for medical benefits after the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment.
Employees are eligible for dental, life, and supplemental benefits the 1st of the month following 90 days of employment.
