IRRIGATION / LIGHTING TECHNICIAN will provide detailed service to clients by installing and maintaining irrigation and landscape lighting systems, checking backflow units, hanging and removing holiday lights, and other tasks assigned in off seasons. Problem-solving skills desired. Must be flexible, as duties will vary. Must be able to dig, move, and lift in a fast-paced environment, outdoors in all weather conditions.

May call clients to schedule service.

• Use hand or power tools; may use ladders.
• Dig and install sprinkler or irrigation pipe; repair irrigation piping as needed.
• Install or repair landscape lights; replace fixtures or bulbs.
• Winterize irrigation systems and open systems in spring.
• Perform a variety of tasks as assigned, may include any combination of the above.

• Driver’s license and clean driving record required; previous experience and Backflow Certification desired, or ability to pass licensing exam.
