Transporter Refurbishment Service Technician
Base pay range: $27.00/hr - $33.00/hr

This position is with Evolve Solutions, LLC, a high-end custom fabrication company serving motor sport teams and brands. The successful candidate will repair and renovate client transporters, focusing on interior refurbishment, and will work to meet client specifications with a strong emphasis on quality and attention to detail.
OverviewThe Custom Refurbishment Service Technician is an integral role that ensures client transporters are repaired and renovated according to client expectations. This position specializes in all interior features of refurbishments, including framing, fixture installation, flooring, wallboard/laminating with HPL, cabinetry, and other custom build features. This role uses various materials (wood, metal, plastics, etc.) and requires a keen eye for quality and detail.
Responsibilities- Inspect and strategize repair and refurbishment needs of trailer interior upon arrival.
- Collaborate with the service team to complete interior demolition and reconstruction according to work orders.
- Perform renovation steps including general construction, floor installation, cabinet setting, plumbing, trim carpentry, door and window installation, etc.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools effectively.
- Utilize necessary materials, parts, and supplies for transporter repair and renovation.
- Test parts and systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Ensure service processes are executed efficiently with a focus on quality.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project notes and follow inventory procedures.
- Keep the work area clean and safe; complete additional related tasks as assigned.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented attitude and collaborate effectively with peers.
- Strong skills in a variety of carpentry areas including trim carpentry, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic building codes.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain a wide range of woodworking and metalworking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; committed to high-quality craftsmanship.
- Team-oriented with willingness to share knowledge and support other shop personnel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and stoop in office and shop settings.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, from ladders, and at moderate heights.
- Experience with 12V and 24V electrical systems.
- Technical training or certifications in construction, carpentry, blueprint reading, building codes, or related field.
