We are seeking a skilled and experienced Paving Screw Operator to join our team. The Paving Screw Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining paving equipment, particularly the paving screw, to ensure precise and efficient asphalt placement during paving operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of asphalt paving techniques and equipment operation, as well as a commitment to safety and quality.

• Operate and control the paving screw to distribute and level asphalt mix during paving operations.
• Monitor and adjust paving screw speed, angle, and depth to achieve desired asphalt thickness and finish.
• Coordinate with paving crew members to ensure smooth and efficient paving operations.
• Conduct pre-operation equipment checks and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions or operational issues as they arise.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
• Keep an open line of communication with parent company, Libs Paving.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating paving equipment, particularly paving screw machines, is required.
• Strong understanding of asphalt paving techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret paving plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Certification or training in equipment operation or asphalt paving techniques is preferred.
• Experience working in the construction or paving industry is a plus.
