Water Mitigation Technician Assistant

Midwest Remediation is hiring full-time Assistant Water Technicians in Indianapolis, IN. Pay: $20–$22 per hour

This is a full‑time reconstruction position with multiple shifts:

• Monday–Friday (7 am–4 pm, 8 am–5 pm, or 9 am–5 pm)
• Evenings, weekends, and on‑call shifts

In this position, you will work directly with Lead and Senior Technicians to complete delegated tasks quickly and accurately. You will support on‑call duties, assist in disaster response efforts during adverse weather, and help keep company vehicles organized and fully stocked. Your daily work will consist of both field and operational tasks, contributing directly to our team's overall success and safety.

In order to do this, you'll need the following:

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 80 lbs
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods
• Ability to work in diverse conditions (outdoors, non‑air‑conditioned spaces, confined areas, etc.)
• Ability to work in a full‑face respirator, particulate mask (N95), and safety glasses or face shield
• Ability to work in and around sewage and microbial growth
• Punctual, motivated, reliable, and demonstrates strong leadership skills
• Willingness to learn and has a positive attitude

• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• OSHA 10 certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• IICRC WRT certification (in progress or willing to earn)
• Mechanical aptitude or troubleshooting skills
• Bilingual
• Basic technology skills
• Willingness to work on‑call shifts or overtime
