Build a Career. Learn a Skilled Trade.

Not everyone wants to sit behind a desk all day.

If you enjoy working with your hands, building things, learning practical skills, and being able to see what you accomplished at the end of the day, this could be a great opportunity to start a career in the skilled trades.

We are looking for Commercial Flooring Apprentices who want to learn the flooring trade from experienced professionals.
You do not need flooring experience. We are looking for people with the right attitude, work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn.

This isn't just a laborer position. Our goal is to train and develop you into a skilled commercial flooring installer.

What You'll Learn

You'll work alongside experienced commercial flooring installers and receive hands-on training in:

  • Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP)
  • Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT)
  • Carpet and Carpet Tile
  • Sheet Vinyl
  • Proper use of flooring tools and equipment
  • Measuring, layout, cutting, and installation techniques
  • Reading jobsites and understanding the installation process
  • Jobsite safety and commercial construction practices

As your skills develop, you'll be given more responsibility with the goal of progressing from Apprentice to Installer and eventually Lead Installer.

What You'll Do

While you're learning the trade, you'll also help the crew with the day-to-day work that keeps projects moving:

  • Assist experienced installers on commercial flooring projects
  • Load, unload, and stage flooring materials
  • Help prepare floors and work areas for installation
  • Learn proper installation techniques through hands-on training
  • Use and maintain tools and equipment
  • Keep jobsites clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow direction from installers, foremen, and project leaders
  • Travel to commercial jobsites throughout Indiana as needed
  • Help the team complete projects safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards
Who We're Looking For

We care more about your attitude and work ethic than your resume.

You may be a good fit if you:

  • Want to learn a skilled trade
  • Enjoy working with your hands
  • Take pride in doing quality work
  • Show up on time and are dependable
  • Are willing to listen, learn, and take direction
  • Enjoy working as part of a crew
  • Can handle physical work throughout the day
  • Are comfortable working on active construction jobsites
  • Are willing to travel to jobsites throughout Indiana
  • Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Previous construction, warehouse, manufacturing, landscaping, automotive, maintenance, or other hands-on experience is helpful,
but it is not required.

What We Offer
  • Starting pay of $18.00/hour
  • Paid, hands-on training
  • Training directly from experienced flooring professionals
  • Opportunity to learn multiple commercial flooring systems
  • Steady work with a growing company
  • The opportunity to build skills that can turn into a long-term career
Start Your Career in the Trades

You don't need years of experience to get started.
