Our client, a leader in the Fintech space is looking to bring on a Senior Software Engineer on a direct hire basis here in Indianapolis. Responsibilities- Design and Optimize databases
- Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
- Backend process integrations
- Cloud Infrastructure and Dev Ops
- Collaborate in an Agile environment
- Leverage AWS knowledge
- Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
- Support test and deployment of new products and features
- Participate in code reviews
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
- 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Expertise in Object Oriented Design, Database Design, and XML Schema
- Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
- Experience with AWS, Docker or Linux
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
- Experience with Go and Go-based micro services.
- Expertise in database design and writing efficient SQL queries
