We are seeking a talented Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for IoT devices and connected systems. This role involves working closely with hardware and cloud teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions for industrial and commercial applications.

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers and microprocessors.
• Implement low-level drivers and communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and CAN.
• Integrate IoT devices with Microsoft Azure Cloud and containerized environments using Docker.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and hardware bring‑up for new boards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on system architecture and design reviews.
• Optimize firmware for performance, reliability, and security.
• Document firmware design, testing procedures, and revision history.

• 2+ years of experience with embedded C/C++.
• Experience with low-level microcontrollers.
• Experience with free
  
  RTOS and/or Zephyr operating systems.
• Proficiency in firmware development, C++, Linux, and embedded Linux.
• Knowledge of bare metal programming.

• Experience with containerized environments and cloud integration.
• Understanding of system architecture and design reviews.

This is a Contract position based out of Westfield, IN.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 – $60.00/hr.
