• Architect, build, and lead backend services to handle large workloads and low latency requirements
• Design and implement autoscaling strategies, dynamic resource allocation, and load balancing
• Optimize end-to-end request pipelines for latency, throughput, reliability, and correctness
• Monitor and profile production systems, identifying bottlenecks and troubleshooting performance issues
• Mentor and coach other engineers while contributing to architecture and technical roadmap discussions

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience building scalable, high-performance distributed systems
• Strong experience with performance optimization techniques, including latency tuning and caching strategies
• Deep understanding of autoscaling, resource management, and load balancing
• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or C++
• Experience operating across multiple cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and/or hybrid environments

• Experience with AI/ML model deployment and production integration
• Familiarity with Gen AI, serving LLMs, and embeddings
• Exposure to on-prem delivery models or regulated environments
• Experience with Docker and building containerized applications
