We are seeking a skilled technical professional to join our team as an Agentforce Engineer. In this role, you will be at the forefront of embedding intelligent AI-powered agents into Salesforce environments, enhancing customer interactions, automating complex business processes, and optimizing user experiences. This role uniquely combines your Salesforce expertise, business process reengineering skills, and passion for AI/Agentic-driven solutions.

You will partner closely with customers, internal account teams, product experts, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business needs into AI-driven Salesforce agents that deliver tangible, measurable business outcomes. You will analyze requirements, design and implement intelligent Agentforce-powered agents within Salesforce, and continuously optimize the experience & performance to drive business value and consumption.

As a trusted advisor and advocate, the Agentforce Engineer will be the primary point of contact to assist customers in understanding, utilizing, and implementing Agentforce. You will partner with the account team, focusing on the customer’s business goals to enhance their implementation, adoption, and maximize their Agentforce investment. The Agentforce Engineer maintains awareness of the customer’s key events, needs, potential risks, and value drivers.

You will operate hands-on within customer environments to create, deploy, and optimize agents, developing a deep technical understanding of their Agentforce implementation.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, self-driven, and excels in communication and collaboration. They should enjoy building relationships and quickly adapting to new technologies.

This role suits individuals with strong technical skills who want to grow their careers at Salesforce and work with autonomous agent technologies. They will be the primary contact for helping customers activate, use, and expand Agentforce in their organizations.

  • Assess technical and business readiness and map organizational processes through direct customer engagement
  • Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of Agentforce agents within Salesforce; build agents that meet compliance requirements, business logic, and customer experience goals
  • Recommend opportunities to reengineer processes by combining AI agent capabilities with Salesforce automation tools such as Flows and Omni Studio
  • Identify and provide recommendations on data strategy, data quality, governance (e.g., legal reviews, AI council), and software development lifecycle best practices
  • Define and orchestrate agent actions, configure and maintain each agent’s topics, and create and optimize prompt engineering strategies to improve agent performance, relevance, and accuracy
  • Build and maintain guardrails to govern agent behavior, ensuring safe, compliant, and brand-aligned responses, including risk mitigation, escalation paths, constraints, and tone-of-voice calibration
  • Implement and configure leading large language models (LLMs) like GPT-4 for Salesforce agents
  • Perform testing and refinement in customer environment throughout deployment to optimize agent performance
  • Track performance metrics and user feedback; execute iterative improvements based on performance metrics to grow Agentforce consumption
