SUMMARY: The National Institute for Fitness and Sport (NIFS) is seeking enthusiastic, professional, motivated individuals who enjoy teaching group fitness. Experience in formats such as Barre, BOSU, Boot Camp, Boxing, Cardio, Circuit, Core, Cycling, HIIT/Tabata, Kickboxing, Low Impact, Mat Pilates, PiYo, Step, Strength, TRX, Yoga, or Zumba is required. Classes may be onsite or offsite.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one-year experience as a group fitness instructor
• CPR/AED certification
• Minimum of one nationally recognized Group Exercise Certification

Responsibilities:

• Conduct safe, fun, dynamic, and effective classes
• Provide excellent service through professional relationships with participants, addressing their needs, concerns, and questions
• Relate to and work with a variety of people
• Ensure the class area is clean, disinfected, and ready for the next class, reporting any issues to the coordinator
• Be punctual for all scheduled classes
• Maintain attendance records
