Indiana Sports Corp has helped elevate the city of Indianapolis from a place of obscurity to the city “Where Champions are Crowned” and positively impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of our citizens, especially youth.
YourRole as a Promotional Student
We’re seeking outgoing, enthusiastic undergraduate and graduate students to serve as the face of Indiana Sports Corp in the community. As a Promotional Student, you’ll represent our organization at local events and help connect the public with some of the most exciting sports experiences in the country.
Events You’ll Promote- NCAA DIII Swimming and Diving
- Final Four Week Ancillary Events
- Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament
- And many more!
Promotional Students will serve from February 2nd through May 1st, 2026
, committing to at least 15 events
.
Key responsibilities include:
- Representing Indiana Sports Corp at parades, festivals, community events, and farmers markets
- Driving and operating a company vehicle
- Engaging with the public and confidently speaking to strangers about our mission
- Setting up and tearing down promotional booths and activations
- Taking on-site photos for social media content
- Managing and tracking promotional inventory
- Supporting volunteers and ensuring tasks are executed effectively
- Collect accurate data from our fans
- At least 21 years of age by August 2025
- Available Thursdays through Sundays for evening and weekend events
- Comfortable initiating conversations and engaging with community members and families
- Able to stand for extended periods, with some light walking and occasional sitting
- Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds (e.g., tables, signage, promotional items)
- Able to pass a background check and driver screening
- Safely operate a company vehicle for short- and long-distances
- Enthusiastic, extroverted, and ready to lead from the front
- Experienced in youth programming or family engagement (preferred but not required)
- Hands-on experience in community engagement, event execution, and public relations
- Access to future volunteer and networking opportunities with Indiana Sports Corp
- Invitations to signature events such as Locker Room Lunch Series
- A branded Indiana Sports Corp Gear Pack
- A meaningful resume entry that reflects leadership, communication, and initiative
You’ll receive a total of $1,500
, distributed in three payments—after completing events #5, #10, and #15.
